Firefox Build – Pixefy is now available for Firefox users!

Activity Tab:

  • Edit content, images, and screenshots directly in the Activity tab
  • Improved Show/Hide changes functionality
  • Content edit changes can now be hidden from Activity
  • Fixed dropdown not closing while navigating
  • "Delete all" now fully removes screenshots from all pages

🎨 UI/UX Improvements

  • Toolbar – UI refinements and bug fixes after rearranging tools
  • Grids – Better grid behavior and UI fixes
  • Colors UI – Refined display and updates to color contrast interface
  • Inspect Tool – Visual UI fixes + consistent property display
  • Toolbar UX – Smoother transitions and layout

  • Grid dropdown no longer resets settings when re-selecting active option
  • Sidebars now hide properly during screenshots

  • Fixed content jumping in Inspect tool after display settings change
  • Rearrangement modal now closes only when expected
  • Resizing panes no longer selects unwanted text
  • Inspect tool now correctly displays values
  • Scrollbar corner rounding restored

  • Skipping elements with display: none now works during sync

We’ve just rolled out a new update to make Pixefy even smoother for your responsive testing workflow.

Wha'ts new?

  • ‍Grid Layout → Overlay customizable grids to check alignment and spacing across breakpoints. Perfect for pixel-perfect layouts.

Improvements?

  • ‍Inspect Tool → Better stability and accuracy when inspecting styles and elements.
  • Measurements Widget → Now disabled by default for a cleaner view. Activate it only when needed (thanks for the feedback!).

This update brings powerful accessibility tools like blindness simulation and color contrast view, plus a remade Inspect panel and key bug fixes.

What's new:

  • ‍Blindness Simulation – Preview your site as users with visual impairments or color deficiencies would see it.
  • ‍Colors View – Instantly see which colors fail AA/AAA contrast checks, all in one clear view.‍
