Improvements and Fixes for Smoother Workflows

v.0.8.3

Pixefy changelog - The little things matter

This update brings a range of improvements and fixes to enhance your experience and address key feedback. We’ve refined core features, improved usability, and resolved several bugs to ensure smoother workflows and better reliability. Here’s what’s new:

Improvements:

  • Improved pane isolation to address an issue where some websites injecting their JS code caused our UI to collapse.

  • Improved drag-and-drop mechanics: inactive cards now stay in place and no longer jump to the next row.

  • Improved label readability for better user experience.

  • Improved readability for asset and screenshot previews in thumbnails.

  • Feedback has a new home! We’ve removed a JavaScript library from the extension, and feedback now redirects to pixefy.io/feedback where you can submit all requests.

  • Improved Active panes preview in split screen mode, now showing percentages for greater clarity.

  • Added an empty state for the Inspect tool, which is now always visible and doesn’t hide or show after deselecting elements. This is especially useful in split screen mode.

Bug Fixes:

  • Resolved an issue in split screen mode where the Pane UI collapsed when resizing the browser tab to its minimum width.

  • Fixed the responsive pane vertical handle alignment issue.

  • Corrected an issue where websites using right-to-left text direction impacted our UI.

  • Fixed a bug where user agents occasionally failed to load correctly.

  • Resolved an error that occurred after deleting panes from the active panes list.

  • Fixed an issue where screenshot previews were larger than expected.

  • Addressed box model UI rendering issues.
